Earlier this year, the Y partnered with the City of #Sacramento to provide child care for essential workers, first responders, and medical staff so that the people we count on didn't have to choose between saving lives and the safety of their families.

Join us on Thursday, October 15 by standing up to bullying and showing solidarity with LGBTQ+ youth for #SpiritDay by wearing purple! LGBTQ youth disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. Each year, millions go purple for Spirit Day to support LGBTQ youth in a united stand against bullying. Pledging to go purple" on Spirit Day is a way for everyone to visibly show solidarity with youth and to take part in the largest, most visible LGBTQ anti-bullying campaign in the world.
