Pacific Grove Workshop - Day 3 Leading, Borrowing, and Stealing Entering attacks were trained to develop three foundational changes for fast entering past an opponent’s guard for striking. The Turning the back Entering form was trained to pair footwork and body movement with a variety of Entering attacks to develop the ability to change technique when reacting to an opponent’s force. Isometric strength postures finished out the day.

Pacific Grove Workshop - Day 2 Moving and Pushing attack direction changes were trained in order to add footwork and positioning elements to strikes. Inside, Outside, and Low Capturing attacks were trained to develop a force capable of stopping an opponent’s attack while also restricting his mobility. The Lying Step Capturing attack form was trained for use of Capturing attacks when reacting to an opponent’s force.

Pacific Grove Workshop - Day 1 Straight, Inside and Rotating Pushing and Capturing, Rising and Rotating Lifting attacks were trained for the power and full body coordination needed to develop Dragon system long strength. Usage drills focused on accurate direction of force application to tie up an opponent and nullify his ability to counterattack. Isometric strengthening postures finished out the day.
