Our cleanup day on April 24 was a success with our hard workers- Suzie Casper, Susie Heffernan, Judy Wheeler, Debbie Ingvoldsen, Dan Wheeler, and Deb Conway. Dan spent several mornings weedeating. We dug up weeds, planted flowers, deadheaded flowers and cleaned inside the schoolhouse.

April 17th Don Saul, his grandson Logan, Jordan Huff and Deb Conway repainted the sign that someone had graffitied a while back. The sign was a gift to the Canyon Lakes Market from the Yankee Hill Historical Society when their sign was destroyed in the Camp Fire.

We have recently added a presentation on Pulga to the Yankee Hill Historical Society Webpage. Visit https://yankeehillhistory.com and click on the Theater tab. The presentation is a Powerpoint presentation converted to a pdf file you can scroll through at your own pace with information on Pulga, Big Bar, the Gramps family, the King family, the Reynolds family and the Western Pacific Railroad. It is 59 pages long. We want to thank Ernie Reynolds who contributed the early photos (circa 1915 - 1925) of Pulga and his family for the presentation. Enjoy, Larry Mauch
