We still have just over 100 parcels in Concow/Yankee Hill that have not done so...we hope to assist more residents who need support to do the form - contact Brenda at 530/370-5302. 2) North Complex - Bear Fire: the deadline for the Debris/Tree Removal ROE is January 15, 2021. This includes residents in the Yankee Hill - Big Bend ar...ea that was impacted by this event too! Again, let us help you with the paperwork - contact Brenda at 530/370-5302. 3) Vouchers for Gas, Propane, and Food: While supplies last; we'll be distributing vouchers for the Concow/Yankee Hill communities through regular USPS mail. We need confirmation of your mailing address: CALL - 530/534-4179 for VOUCHERS; someone will get back to you and get your information needed to mail you a packet. We ask to please be patient with us, leave a message at 530/534-4179 for vouchers and we will get back to you. This will happen while supplies last - Special thank you to the donors who help support the Voucher Program: Lakeside Market and Gas, North Valley Community Foundation, United Way of Northern California, Chico Natural Foods Cooperative - Twin Pines Cooperative Foundation, North Valley Catholic Social Services' - Butte Hope Program, and Community Members. Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays - may we be safe in finding comfort and joy with family, friends, and community as this year winds down. Kindly, Yankee Hill Fire Safe Council
Camp Fire Recovery - Hazard Tree Program: ROE's are due by December 31, 2020. This is the final deadline date to sign up for the Hazard Tree Program using the Right of Entry Form (ROE) where they will take care of the hazard trees at no out of pocket cost to you. This is your last chance to work under the program offered to mitigate the hazard trees that are at risk of falling into the private or public road systems. Please do not wait any longer; I'm happy to help in any...way I can to get the form filled out and turned in. Avoid Abatement Hearings: - this is still avoidable by filling out the ROE form and turn it in by December 31, 2020. We want to help; avoid further hardship - please call Brenda at 530/534-4179 at Yankee Hill Fire Safe Council or better yet call the Hazard Tree Removal Call Center at 530/552-3030 for assistance. We've been down this path before. Photos from 2008 Camp Fire...we were left on our own to deal with large dead tree debris. We were still cleaning up large tree debris when the 2018 Camp Fire hit us again! Please take this help that is now being offered us; do it for the safety and future of our community.
