Hey Beauties, Are you confused about what’s your Hair Type? When the natural hair community talks about hair typing they are talking about the curl pattern and texture. (3A-4Z)... As a Natural hair Specialist, serving the natural hair community for 20+ years. I help my natural hair clients get and maintain healthy hair based on their hair concerns NOT their texture. However knowing the curl type is useful so I can some what know what to expect. But I think curl typing can be negative based on serving my 4C’s (thicker or coarse) hair ladies. Because they have struggled to manage it therefore they can’t appreciate its beauty. And they often refer to the 4A-B’s as being better.
