There is nothing like getting showered and dressed and ready to start your day in a fresh, clean, luxurious ensuite bathroom. Don’t you agree? My client’s existing bathroom had a few issues. It was outdated, had an awkward corner framed shower, a small vanity and limited storage. The bathroom door was also off the main hall which did not allow much privacy for the homeowners. The solution was to reconfigure this entire bathroom and turn it into a stunning private ensuite. We achieved this by closing off the existing bathroom entrance to the hall and relocating the entrance from the master bedroom. By doing this we were able to move the shower closer to the window to take advantage of the beautiful natural light. A large tile in drain shower with frameless glass door was incorporated into the room. To keep the area fresh and bright, Carrara marble tiles were used on the wall and a white marble hex tile on the floor. A custom white oak vanity with a modern apron front incorporated lots of useful storage beneath and we installed a light up vanity style mirror with defogger. Pattern was used throughout in a subtle and calming way. A marble mosaic tile above the vanity, a charcoal chevron tile on the floor and a white hex tile on the shower floor.
