Here are some expert tips from Dr. Schweitzer hat will help you keep your skin healthy under the mask When you take off your mask, wash your face with a mild cleanser to clear up some of the sweat, debris and whatever else you have accumulated on your skin. Rinse with lukewarm water and stay away from using hot water. A good over the counter mild cleanser is CeraVe Hydrating Facial Clemaser Constant rubbing a...nd friction from the mask can strip away the natural moisture from the skin. This can result in dry, chapped and irritated skin. Use a moisturizer that has ingredients that aim at replenishing your skin barrier. A good over the counter option is Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Before going to bed and if your skin is very dry, red and chapped use an ointment that can protect the skin after moisturizing.
