Daily I try to add something positive to someone's life. If I think of someone I send a short text "You good?" If someone reccomends a book I love, I remem...ber to say thank you. If you are in my life I promise there is a song that reminds me of you. I believe visiting is an art worth mastering. Sitting on a porch with a cup of something warm is worth doing. Music that soothes your soul is worth hearing. Preparing food and sharing it with a friend is worth the preparation. This past week a neighbor gave me a bag of Myer lemons from his tree, a friend shared chocolate dipped strawberries she dipped herself, and my sister shared her homemade tamales. It's not the food that warms my soul, it's the kind people in my life who care about me.
