Want to help reduce COVID-19 related closures in Woodland? The key to staying open is to keep our local ICU capacity high, so Woodland Sunrise Rotary is partnering with Woodland Healthcare Foundation to help raise urgently needed money to fund a specialized respiratory scope for use in the ICU. The current influx of COVID-19 patients to the ICU with breathing problems highlights the urgent need for this device to help get patients the care they need, and to keeping our comm...unity healthy and open. Saturday, December 5th, several Woodland Sunrise Rotarians and a few of their family members practiced some social distancing while planting trees at the Yolo County Fair Grounds. The Woodland Tree Foundation supplied the trees and they were planted around the mobile trailer parking area at the fair grounds. Our club is thankful to be able to continue to provide service to our community and help with beautification during these tough pandemic times.

This Saturday is the official kickoff for our Salmondemic fundraiser!

District 5160 Governor Mark Roberts joined us last week for a visit to talk about the good that Rotary is doing in the face of the pandemic. He also provided high praise to our leadership team for keeping things going under trying circumstances. There will be no meeting tomorrow morning; happy Thanksgiving to all!
