May we not let the presence of our current trial unseat us from the truth that our struggle is only temporary, and that God is at work in it! "Sing praises to the Lord , O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:4-5 ESV

Love keeps no record of wrongs. 1 Corinthians 13:5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. God keeps no record of your wrongs. So why does it make ok for you to hold grudges against others?... Why do we keep a record of others sins against us? Is it due to our pride? Or that someTHING material of ours has been taken or damaged? The reason is we keep records of wrongs is because we are self centred. When we begin to place so much value on our selves and the things that we own, we begin to become self centred. And this makes it extremely difficult to forgive others of their sins against us. Because we are so focused on how they wronged us and how we suffered from their actions. Luke 11:4 Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation. ’ In Luke 11, Jesus recites the Lord’s Prayer. And in this prayer, Jesus talks about the importance of forgiving one another for our sins. Jesus knew the importance of forgiveness of others in becoming selfless. And the truth is that nothing else matters but salvation. Which has been given to us, free of charge. The love Jesus showed us on the cross can lead you to repent for your selfishness and pride. To love as our Lord Jesus loves, we must love in intentional, active and transforming ways. We have no righteous authority to hold onto the wrongs of others. It is our fleshly pride that drives us to keep these records of wrongs committed against us. And it is Jesus that will set you free by forgiving you and giving you peace by allowing you to forgive others. #repost @kaitsbible

#repost Just a friendly reminder for today and all the days ahead. Proverbs 13:3- Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Matthew 12:36-37// I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.... Proverbs 18:21- Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 17:27- He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

Woman of God, how's your pace right now? Do you feel like you've been hitting road blocks? Have you stopped to consider if that might be the Lord trying to get your attention and inviting you to something new or different? "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 ESV
