I have worked with Dr Diego since 2008, and love the medical field. If you have ever called our office, or made it in for an appointment, then we have met. I absolutely love love LOVE my position here. If you have met me, then you know I am a people person, and love to chit chat. My priority is to get you scheduled, get you in, and out for your appointment in a timely manner, with a smile on your face. I love to know all of our patients by name, and develop personal relationships with them and their families, which is what my passion is. I have 3 wonderful children, and a husband of 12 years. My first love is my family. We are very active with our church and our sporting activities. I love life, and always have a smile on my face, because there is so much to be thankful for. I'm currently enrolled in the nursing program MJC, as well as Stan State working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. ... My #1 goal here at Women to Women Medical Group is that our patients feel like family, that they not only get the absolute best medical care, treated with integrity and professionalism, while at the same time feeling comfortable, and "at home", even perhaps looking forward to their next visit with us. I love to see a patient leave smiling even laughing, when they just walked in feeling miserable. I love spending 9 months with our pregnant moms and then holding their newborn babies afterwards. Its truly a blessing and honor to be in this field of work helping and caring for patients, building long lasting relationships with them and their families. I grew up in Southern California in a town very much like modesto. After college I took an opportunity for adventure and moved to the snowy Midwest where I graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 1999. I currently hold membership at the American Academy of Family Physicians, Stanislaus Medical Society and am a certified communications trainer and on the faculty of the Institute for Healthcare Communication. I have been working as a physician in Modesto for almost 16 years and have worked out of both Doctors Medical Center & Memorial Medical Center. I am a board certified Family Medicine Physician and have always treated patients of all ages/genders with a focus on women's health & obstetrics. After all these years, it still makes me smile every time I hear a baby's heart beat when I listen to a mommy's tummy. It is my mission to treat each patient with kindness & compassion while providing the highest quality medical care. As a woman in my 40's, I understand many of the complex challenges women face today and I truly enjoy partnering with my patients to promote optimum health & wellness of both body & spirit. My name is Elizabeth Morrison and I am a mental health therapist at Women to Women Medical Group. I grew up in Alaska, and lived there most of my adult life. I moved to California in 2005 to start mental health services for a large medical organization, and have been seeing patients in integrated settings ever since. I believe in ‘whole person care’ where patients can receive address both their medical/physical and mental health care needs under one roof. I have over 20 years of experience providing counseling services to patients, helping individuals and families during difficult times. I specialize in helping patients struggling with relationship problems, anxiety, depression and addictive behaviors. I received my under graduate degree from Penn State, and my Master’s Degree from UCLA. I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a therapist. I also have a Master of Addictions Counseling from the National Association of Addiction Professionals. I love my work, I feel like by being a therapist I get the privilege of seeing people’s amazing strengths and resilience as they navigate life’s difficulties. I grew up locally in the Fresno area and always knew I wanted to be a doctor to patients in the Central Valley. I attended Harvard University for the summer of 1987 and studied Biology and received my Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in 1989 from California State University Fresno. In 1989 I attended Stanford University School of Medicine and acquired my Medical Degree in 1994. I completed my residency with Stanislaus Medical Center in Modesto California in 1997. I am currently President of Stanislaus Medical Society, and hold membership at the American Academy of Family Physicians and Stanford Medical School Alumni Association and I am a board member of Doctor’s Medical Center Hospital, Latino Physicians of California, and Foundation for Health Professions and served on the Medical Board of California through 2014. My passion is providing quality health care to the residents of San Joaquin Valley, thus for many years worked at a Community Health Center and was Chief Medical Officer. Realizing that most patients in the valley all struggle with access to quality health care, I chose to work with my partners Dr. Susan Podolsky & Dr. Lisa Gil to be able to more closely touch the lives of more patients and give patients the care they deserve.
