We wish your family a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Through this challenging year, our boys have committed to staying safe, giving back to the community, and giving back to the program. With the new tentative guidelines announced, our boys are excited to to return to the field in 2021!

THANK YOU to the players (and their families) and coaches at Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack Baseball Club for the 72 turkeys donated to this year's Turkey Drive! We sur...e missed the boys being able to come out and join us on Saturday, but were glad that Coach Mark Gwerder (center), Teisha Gwerder (right), and Booster President Ron SooHoo (left) were able to stop by! They are joined by Kevin Spease and Marie Jachino in the second photo. See more

Thank you to our coaches, booster board members, and parents (Lenoare Mays, Miya Tsumura, Bart Greene, Darryl Mays, Kevin Tarrant, Zack Evans, Ron Rackley, Mark Gwerder, Teisher Gwerder, and Ron SooHoo) that took the place of our players this year to receive the turkeys at our drive thru at BSP. We also appreciate all those Pack Baseball players and families that showed up with a turkey in hand and donated to this community cause. In addition, we wish to thank Rick Workman of Workman Communication, one of our major sponsors to our program for donating 20 or so turkeys. One last special thank you goes out to those Pack families that could not make it out to our drop-off location but made arrangements with us in advance to ensure their contributions made it to us and to the Elk Grove Food Bank.

Hello Wolfpack Community This page has never meant to be political or divisive. This page is meant to promote our community, school, program, and lastly our student athletes. I thought long and hard before posting this. However, I feel it is important that I bring to light that public trust may have been violated. This has hurt all student athletes for the benefits of those that go to extreme measures to throw another school program and its students under the bus. I believe ...this was done in order to have a perceive advantage of winning in regular season. I have submitted a California Public Records Act for all electronic and written documents pertaining to the Elk Grove Unified School District’s Athletic Director’s handling of the school district’s COVID 19 district protocol for athletic practices and drills. I am looking specifically for external and internal documentation including emails that led to our summer baseball being shut down. I am attempting to learn if Elk Grove District employees were either in violation administratively or ethically with shutting down CO Baseball summer program by using false allegations. The district protocol for athlete practice and drills is a guide to help school athletic programs get back on the field in a safe manner during COVID 19. Cosumnes Oaks Baseball summer program was shut down due to unsubstantiated complaints of the program violating the district protocols. School officials later stated the baseball program did not violate any guidelines. However, to date there is not a clear understanding to us why the summer baseball program was shut down. Cosumnes Oaks Baseball was the only baseball program in the district to conduct summer practice under strict district guidelines. Other high schools decided to wait. At this point, I am seeking to determine if another high school athletic director was working with district’s chief athletic director in collusion to shut down our program. Cosumnes Oaks High School Football also took a hit and was shut down. They were cleared by any wrongdoing last week. I believe the same parties were involved to sabotage both programs that they viewed as a competitive threat and not part of the good old boys club. Let our school site administration police our athletic programs. We do not need representatives from other high school’s athletic programs photographing or videoing our students in attempt to paint a narrative of violations. I hope we can determine the truth and move forward. Let our student athletes leave it on the field and keep politics out of it. Ron SooHoo, President Baseball Boosters

In partnership with the Elk Grove Food Bank, CO Baseball will host its annual Turkey Drive on Saturday, Nov. 21st. Due to EGUSD school district's restriction to it's campuses, CSD has allowed us to utilize the north parking lot of the Bartholomew Sport Complex from 9AM to 10 AM in order to collect dropped off frozen turkeys. Please support the program and those who are in need by donating a frozen turkey and any non-perishable food items. Baseball coaches and booster board members will be on hand to receive the items. Happy holidays to all and stay safe! CO Baseball Program
