This is an incredibly special Sunday for so many of us because we get to celebrate the amazing women in our lives. Mom's, grandmas, and great grandmas are a blessing from the Lord. They are deserving of recognition for their hard work. Good morning! It is the Lord's Day and we invite you to join us for another Sunday as we gather in our courtyard to worship our victorious God, who fights for us on our behalf. Amen! We continue in our sermon series "I AM" with the passage in John 14:6, where Jesus declares that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Pastor Jessie unpacks this powerful statement and what it means for us living in today's world of relativism and "personal truths."

Every Sunday from 12:30-1:30pm, we provide food and other household items free of charge to those in need. We are located on the corner of Olympic Blvd and Purdue, but the ministry entrance is the driveway facing Olympic Blvd. Everyone is welcome! No ID or proof of need is necessary, but we do ask that everyone comply with current restrictions (wearing masks and social distancing). So for those in need, please come by and allow us to be a blessing during these trying times.

With great joy and gratefulness, we met together this morning to induct Pastor Jessie Smith and his wife Angela, as the new Lead Pastor for Faith Tabernacle Church. We thank God for bringing us to this point, for His faithfulness throughout, and for all that He is going to do in the days ahead. God is so, so good!

We are so excited that this Sunday has come! After a year of prayer and a lot of hard work, we are thankful that God has brought us to this point. This Sunday we will install Pastor Jessie Smith as our new Lead Pastor and begin the next chapter of Faith Tabernacle Church together. Join us this Sunday at 10am for a very special outdoor service in our courtyard.

We are excited and thankful to God for opening these doors again, allowing us to come to worship and be fed together in His house. We look forward to tomorrow with great anticipation. A lot of work has been done in order to provide a safe environment, as well as comply with governmental restrictions in place. So while some things may be a little different, let us give thanks that we are able to come together again. Today is the day that the Lord has made, and regardless of the circumstances that may be going on around you, let us remember and take joy in the fact that our God still sits on His throne in heaven. Amen! This week in our Church At Home episode, we have a special guest speaker - Pastor Jessie Smith. He will be bringing us a Word from the Lord that has been placed on his heart for our church entitled "Trust in the Lord." Pastor Jessie breaks down a famous passage from the book of wisdom (Proverbs) that shows us how the Word of God can guide us through even the most troubled times.

In times like these, it can be difficult to give thanks and offer up praise. But throughout the Bible, we see examples of God using worship to change situations and change lives. We see people praise as they faced insurmountable obstacles, praise as they faced enormous armies, praise as they hid in caves or sat bound in prison. And in each situation, God went on to do amazing things. So this week we have prepared another playlist of songs that focus on worship and praise to our Almighty God. This week we encourage you to spend time in worship, singing and claiming His words of life and promises over yourself and your household.
