Internationally-known mystery writer Catriona McPherson will read from her work and discuss her writing life in a talk titled But you always work at home! Writing 2020. Winters Friends of the Library is hosting a free workshop on Fruit Tree Pruning and Training on Wednesday February 17th, 7-8 p.m. The workshop will be led by Steve Radosevich, Yolo County UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardner, who has taught a variety of fruit tree related workshops for the last 15 years. He is also interested in landscape trees and volunteers with the Woodland Tree Foundation, which has planted over 5,000 trees in the last 20 years.
