Prodigy Game offers math games for grades 1 through 8. It's free and there are versions for IOS and Android platforms as well as a web platform. For $4.99 a month you can upgrade to the Premium version. Teacher memberships allow teachers to track student progress, access diagnostic tests, and reports. www.prodigygame.com

Looking for math support for your child, but having trouble getting them to a tutor? Try Khan Academy online - they have videos that clearly explain math concepts for all ages - even college level. It's free!

If you are a parent with a child on the autistic spectrum, FEAT is offering a parent coaching workshop from 10 am to noon on Wednesday, February 12th at Shriner's Hospital. Rat-a-Tat Roll is a new version of one of our favorite short term working memory games. It's easy to learn and can be played with two to five people. We play it with kids of all ages.

Looking for tools to help with math? Try ModMath which allows students to take a picture of math problems then solve them on the screen using a keyboard and pull-down options. FX Equation helps with pre-algebra and algebra work. GeoGebra is great for graphing and drawing assignments. And Chrome has an extension called Equatio that helps with equations, graphing and sketching. On the Ipad, there is an app called Math Paper. Check them out!

Inspiration software helps students write essays, research reports and more. Students brainstorm with a variety of graphic organizers that are then turned into an outline. Kidspiration is the version for elementary students.
