Windy City’s take-out and delivery business has increased during the pandemic and several new customers have asked if we are paying attention to the planet! Many years ago we discontinued all Styrofoam, plastic bags and black plastic. Our containers and paper bags are all recyclable or compostable. We place a corrugated liner in our pizza boxes, allowing heat to escape so that the crust doesn’t become soggy. This also absorbs extra oil, sauce and cheese, increasing the chance... of the box being clean enough to recycle.
