FUN FACT: Did you know Wilmington used to have a J street and a K street? We know them today as Denni and Opp Street. Opp street is named after Earhard Opp a pioneer realtor in Wilmington. He was responsible for making Avalon the shortest way from the port to downtown LA back around the 1930's. Denni was named after Louis Denni. President of WIlmington Mutual Savings and Loan (bank)

Well we were able to get ANOTHER illegal dumping cleaned up on the 1400 block of Eubank. This location gets cleaned up and within days there is more dumping. We will keep doing tickets as long as we are advised it is happening.

One of our stakeholders just lets us know that the mural at TOWN SQUARE has been fixed. Special shout out to SLO Perez for working so hard on that area!!!!

We have been working on illegal dumping requests and have made some progress. In the last month we have had 6 illegal dumpings cleaned up. We are attaching a couple of before and after pictures. Remember things won't improve until we all pitch in. If you need help on an issue let us know and we will see what we can do to help

FUN FACT.... Did you know that the WNC Seal is the original City Seal from way back when Wilmington was its own City? All we did was just add our name. Wilmington has always embraced it's individuality! Something we are still doing to this day!
