Positive Reflection 2020 Take a visual trip for the rest of the month on how this year turned out for us... Day One: We started construction on Wild Heart 2413. ... While leases had been signed since April 2019 and our amazing landlord Julie of @urbanelementssacramento took over the building from the legendary Cuilla Family the same year, Wild Heart Beauty did not take its physical shape until this year. Originally Wild Heart was made up of the entire half of the 2413 building. Julie + Misty played with a few ideas on how to bring something extra unique to the salon & building as a whole.... We landed on a wine bar that would connect to the salon. That’s where @roshambeauxbar now lives- a low ABV/No ABV bar COMING 2021. We can’t wait! Misty and the Wild Heart Collective are honored to be working with a kind and gracious woman such as Julie... We could not have done this project without her. mustard seed school Today we sent off our donation check to the @mustardseedschool A private program that helps homeless children in Sacramento receive an education. We raised $600 for the program + children. We didn’t have a goal set; we just asked our followers, friends, and clients to donate what they could... You did, and we thank you all. ... As the holidays approach, the weather worsens and Covid numbers continue to grow, let’s not forget the families still in need among our community. A great deal of us have our own issues to face right now, but a little goes a long way if we all choose to give something. Whether it be of monetary value, our time, or a toy for a child this holiday. Here are a few organizations that could use our help! Each program has information regarding ways to donate to their cause. @my_sisters_house @loavesfishes @sacchildrenshome As much as we are raising hell to get back to work, we have our health and a roof over our head. We will get through, let’s help others try to do the same.

fierce fam This wild + divine group of women were brought together this year and it was no accident. Things happen when they should. The universe has your back even in the dark, weird moments. Most of our team was hired amid our closure!! How does that make sense?!?!!! It DOES! ... The WHB collective grows closer and closer with each passing day together, even through the difficult tribulations that 2020 tried to throw our way. Our sisterhood is using this down time to rest, reconnect with goals, spend quality time with family, and work on our own self care. We look forward to serving you again soon! salon update Friends, as most of you know by now, the stay-at-home order goes into effect tonight at 11:59pm, which also means we will be closing our doors again this year. Although we aren’t surprised, this still weighs heavy on our hearts for the beauty industry and small businesses in Sacramento. Please stay safe this winter, mask up, sanitize, simply comply. For our sake. ... We will be offering online sales, shipping, and curbside pick up for the duration of the year. Many thank you’s and we love you’s from Misty + WHB

miracle on 24th street WHAT AN AMAZING EVENT!!!!!!!!!! Wild Wonderland was a huge success- The market was major for all of us!... Collectively, we raised $600 yesterday for the Mustard Seed School (a private educational program for homeless children in Sacramento). We could not have done this without our community... Thank you ALL for showing up. A special shout out to @doublezo and @beardedboardsinc for helping create our outdoor space. It looked so amazing. Ginger, from @gingerelizabeth and her staff were so gracious with our vendors, thank you for your purchases and sweet treats. While I’m so grateful we were able to work through our initial battle of opening a new salon this year, the news doesn’t get any easier. I’ll leave that here. ... This season, all of the side hustlers you know, local restaurants, boutique retailers, and salons need your support. It’s a devastating blow to shut our doors to patrons, but we are finding ways to show up for you, so we ask that you please do the same. angela Meet Angela! She is the newest addition to the Wild Heart Collective also known as, EARTH ANGEL. Why our stylist @styledbyhailey kept her best friend from us for so long is a mystery but nonetheless we are beyond happy to have her grace our space. ... Our interview with Angela was completely masked but that did not hinder our instant connection. She holds amazing energy! Angela is outgoing, carries wonderful conversation, all while being an awesome artist who is willing to help her team at anytime.
