Choosing vendors for your wedding can feel overwhelming, especially picking a photographer. Let’s think about it for a minute, on your wedding day you will likely spend 8-12 hours with this person. 8-12 hours!!! Plus think about the time you will spend with them during engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and any other time you may want them behind the scenes capturing all those memories. WOW!! As Chris and I did our research on photographers one thing stuck in my mind, will I/we feel comfortable with this person all day? Do we vibe with this person? Could we sit down for drinks and laugh like friends with this person? As we chatted with @ashleylapradephotography (who I had already shot with for a magazine a few years back) it just felt so easy and comfortable. Fast forward to the day of our engagement session, we spent a solid 8 hours together driving to Temecula, shooting and enjoying dinner and it felt like we had been friends for years! My advice to anyone planning a wedding, take your time and be sure your photographer vibes with both of you.
