Not all treasure’s silver and gold, mate~ These past few months have shown me how important my friends and family are. I would trade all the silver and gold from the silver tides to keep them safe. Luckily, I don’t have to do that ~ all I have to do is #wearamask How rad is today’s #masksaremagical Disney Bound by @lovestalgia ? We had such a great time styling and posing this look, and @katiepritcharddesigns is nothing short of perfection .

Right before lockdown, we were working on one of the biggest shoots I’ve ever planned that involved a lot of very talented people. Our shoot was a few days away when CA shut down, and we made the tough decision to postpone. We never imagined the lockdown would go on for so long, and like many small businesses, this shutdown has been really hard. Not only has it been hard as a business, its been really hard as a human who truly loved what they do and all of the people that I w...orked and interacted with. I was beginning to wonder if we’d ever get back in the studio again, and then I saw a few of the beautiful masks that Katie had been making over at @katiepritcharddesigns . I reached out to Katie about making custom Disney bound masks and changing the theme of our earlier shoot to our #masksaremagical campaign. Katie loved the idea, and it was really cool to see her come up with design after design for our shoot. It’s been good for my creative soul to be looking at fabrics with her and planning outfits and mapping out our shoot with my friends. It was strange walking into my studio after being gone for so many months. Everything seemed paused. Dresses from our earlier shoot were hanging and labeled on coat racks and a few shoe boxes sat beneath them. A schedule for our shoot that never happened was waiting on the table. It’s hard to accept how much things have changed, but it’s been healing to pick up where we left off in a new and more meaningful way. Thank you Katie for taking my idea and running with it, your talent is truly a gift to the world.
