ATTENTION! To any of my Facebook friends looking to purchase a home this year or in the near future!!! Interest Rates are climbing faster than previously predicted! Interest Rates have already hit 4.75% for this quarter for a 20% down payment Owner-Occupied Conventional Loan. In comparison my clients were getting 4% interest rates on the same loans last Spring! For Non-Owner Occupied Properties (Rental Properties) Interest Rates are already above 5%! Buyer's should be aware ...that interest rates are starting to trend in the direction they have typically been throughout recent history. If you are thinking about buying a home/rental property this year, I recommend starting sooner than later! Think about the long run and save some money. Buying a house this spring at a 4.75% interest rate compared to buying at the end of this year or next year at an interest rate of 5% for the same price house would save you tens of thousands of dollars!
