The work at Spring Garden Bridge on Squirrel Creek is moving along. We’ll be producing concrete this week for the approach slabs, deck and curbing.

TRAFFIC ALERT SR 89 LAKE ALMANOR CLOSURE This is a reminder of a road closure for the Lake Almanor Spillway Project. Beginning on September 17, 2018, and for ap...proximately 10 days, State Route 89 will be closed to the traveling public. The closure is necessary for dismantling the spillway detour and connecting the new bridge structure to the existing highway, as well as having a curing period for the new bridge deck. WHAT TO EXPECT Traffic on State Route 89 coming from Canyondam will be temporarily diverted onto State Route 147 (a beautiful ride by Lake Almanor.) Access to Lake Almanor's West Shore on SR 89 will be allowed through up to 12 miles from the SR89/SR36 junction. Motorists on State Route 36 are advised to avoid SR 89 and stay on SR 36 to SR 147. The old Almanor spillway bridge at Canyon Dam was dropped last spring and today we completed pouring the deck concrete on the new structure. A great group of people work at White Cap and they did a stand up job producing the concrete for the new bridge.
