Hi all, as you may or may not know, October is the national breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in women and also the most common cause of cancer-related death in this population. Even though it makes up one of the largest research areas for the federal National Cancer Institute and receives millions of dollars annually, help is still in-needed to raise funds for the prevention, treatment, cure, and support services for patients and... caregivers. In celebration of the 35th national breast cancer awareness month, the Women's Health Alliance (WHA) would like to set up a donation event with all of the money going to The Pink Agenda - a non-profit organization committed to raising money for the conduction of groundbreaking breast cancer research and care, as well as awareness of the disease among young professionals. The event will be going from , , . All monetary donation can be venmo to @-- and any amount would be appreciated. I also include the website of the org in case you guys want to learn more about their awesome mission and goal. If you have any questions, please contact Anh Trinh or Women's Health Alliance UCSF. Thanks all for your kindness and happy October! https://www.thepinkagenda.org/ See more
