16 year old Gulnoza says one of her goals in life is to be helpful. She wants to be useful to society like she sees other women in her life being. Her helpful attitude and actions have been recognized by her peers and have led to her being chosen as a US Dept of State sponsored FLEX scholarship winner. Gulnoza enjoys books, classical music, and doing hand crafts. Help Gulnoza continue to develop her leadership skills by hosting her for her 2016-17 school year in the U.S.

He says his mother has raised him to be nice and polite young man. He also says his academics are important because they make him a better person. He swims to build strength and stay in shape, but he LOVES basketball. Oh, and did I mention Kobe Bryant?! He also likes movies and would like to be a director someday. 16 year old Natalia from the nation of Georgia in Eastern Europe is one of society's future leaders. Natalia has already used leadership skills serving in her ...school's student government. She has learned how to listen to others' opinions and how to work with others as a team. Now she will be coming to the U.S.A. for a school year to learn even more about leadership through the FLEX scholarship program. These wonderful students were an inspiration to us at the conference this past weekend. Any family would be blessed to host such mature and grateful young people! Each of these students competed for and won a scholarship to study in the U.S. for a year. Some of these scholarship programs start with as many as 29,000 applicants and only about 3% are chosen, so you can imagine that receiving the scholarship is quite an honor.
