The evening will begin at 5:30pm with a Principal Welcome followed by 48 information meetings over 4 sessions from 6:00pm to 7:50pm and 20 athletic meetings from 8:00pm to 9:00pm. The Future Foundation is currently accepting applications to its Youth Leadership Program. WHO: All students in grades 9-12 who attend school in the region are eligible. WHAT: Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to develop effective... leadership skills from a variety of speakers with different perspectives. Speakers in the past have been from the NFL LA Rams, FBI, LA & Ventura County Sheriff's Department, BMW, CVUSD senior leaders, and local cities. WHERE: All meetings will take place online. WHEN: There will be a total of eight meetings. Meetings will take place at 4:00 on the following Wednesdays: November 18, 2020, December 2, 2020, December 16, 2020, January 6, 2021, February 3, 2021, February 17, 2021, March 3, 2021, and March 17, 2021 OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Applications must be submitted by October 28, 2020. Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program by November 11, 2020. There is a non-refundable participation fee of $100 per student upon acceptance. Scholarships are available based on need. It has proven to be a very popular program, so we encourage students to apply early as there is a limit to the number that we can accommodate.
