Before placing them in your storage unit, remember to thoroughly vacuum all upholstered furniture and other items. This will get rid of any crumbs or other traces of food that can end up attracting pests. Any stored clothing should be laundered as well.

While we are a self-storage facility, and we do not restrict what you store, there are some things we do not recommend leaving with us. Besides perishable food, do not store furs here. Fur pieces require cold storage and handling by skilled professionals. Improperly stored, and they can be destroyed by insects.

We realize that you don’t have to be a hoarder to have things you can’t bear to part with despite no longer having need of it. Remember, a storage unit can help you hang onto these items without cluttering your home.

To a degree, everyone has that one item they simply couldn’t part with, no matter how much they need the space it occupies at home. If you don’t want to choose between sentiment and function, self-storage is the best compromise.

While you can store materials as high as the ceiling allows, it is not a good idea to stack items higher than they can be safely lifted and removed. Sudden shifts in weight can cause spills and falls.
