Very sad to read the news about so much destruction with this newest round of fires, including the damage done to Castello di Amorosa, where we performed one of our Capulet Ball events in 2016. It's such a beautiful venue and we so enjoyed working with the whole team there. Today is the Autumn Equinox! We hope that this season of shorter days, chilly air, and brightly colored leaves brings softness and care. A renewed comfort in hearth and home. May the changing season remind us that nothing is permanent, that these long fall nights will lead to long Summer days in time. The pain and loss and struggle of this time is also temporary.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of dear We Player Michael Moerman. Michael played our Mentor in The Odyssey on Angel Island- the title was befitting given how much wisdom Michael always had to share- and remained a beloved part of our community. His bright, twinkling eyes were such a welcome sight at productions and events, his intelligent and perceptive feedback about the work always lent a new perspective, and his grace and kindness were so comforting in ...troubled times. We will miss you here on Earth, Michael, but will take comfort in our memories and the lessons you taught us.
