Check out this segment for earlier today on Good Day Sacramento featuring the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s diaper drive for Wellspring Women’s Center! We are overwhelmed by their generosity, and can’t wait to reveal the total number of diapers collected later on this week.
Wellspring Women's Center will be closed November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Thank you to all those who have served. We will return on November 12th, and we hope everyone has a safe and beautiful day!

WE NEED YARN We give out yarn every Thursday as part of our efforts to keep our women creative and stress-free. If you or anyone you know is cleaning out your yarn stash, please keep us in mind. Donations can be dropped off at the center Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 3pm!

Today we celebrate el Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) by honoring the lives of the loved ones we have lost from our community of friends and family! Missed but never forgotten, we commemorate and welcome them with an ofrenda (altar) on display in the Center

Sacramento Take Back the Night aims to resist and end sexual, gender-based, and all forms of violence through awareness-building, empowering survivors and supporting organizations that provide services to survivors of violence. Take Back the Night works collaboratively with local organizations and service providers in furthering these efforts, year-round. On October 31st, join them for a virtual rally against gender-based and all forms of violence! The night will feature speakers, performers, and community organizations. More information below!

We want to give a big shoutout and thank you to the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, who over the weekend hosted their first Drive-in Social Justice Film Festival, featuring An American Tail. They welcomed guests from over 20 organizations and provided 50 scholarships for Wellspring guests to participate! Thanks again, Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, for providing a safe and fun way for the community to get involved in social justice issues. We are so grateful! Today's breakfast featured an omelet bar and fresh-pressed juice, jam-packed with nutrients! Chef Ken prepared a fresh omelet for each guest, while one of our volunteers, Marshon, made fresh carrot and beet juice! YUM!
