A customer asked me how much it cost to DJ their event.... I answered him: $ 1500 He said: So expensive for this job? I asked: How much do you think it would cost you? He answers me: $ 800 maximum... That's a pretty simple job right?!"... - For $ 800 I invite you to do it yourself. - But.... I don't know how to. - For $800 I'll teach you how to. So besides saving you $700, you'll get the knowledge for the next time you want - It seemed right to him and he agreed. - But to get started you need tools: Music library, computer, turntables, a mixer, speakers, wires, etc... - But I don't have all these equipment and I can't buy all of these for one job. - Well then for another $300 more I'll rent my stuff to you so you can do it. - Okay, he says. - Okay! Tuesday I'm waiting for you to start doing this work - But I can't on Tuesday I only have time today. - I'm sorry, but I'm only available Tuesday to teach you and lend you my stuff. Other days are busy with other customers events. - Okay! That means I'm going to have to sacrifice my Tuesday, give up my tasks. - I forgot, to do your job yourself, you also have to pay for the nonproductive factors. - That is? What is that?" - Bureaucratic, record pool fees, tax, security, insurance, fuel etc. - Oh no!... But to accomplish these tasks, I'm going to spend more money and waste a lot of time! - Do you have them? You can do it for me?" - Okay! - I'll provide you all the gear and production you need. Truck loading is done Monday evening or Tuesday morning you'll have to come by 6am to load the truck. Don't forget to be on time to avoid traffic - At 6am??? Nope! Too early for me! I used to getting up later ... - You know, I've been thinking. Y’all better get the job done. I'd rather pay you the $1500. If I had to do it myself it wouldn't be perfect and it would cost me a lot more. When you pay for a job, especially handcrafted skills, you pay not only for the equipment used, but also: - Knowledge - Experience - Study - Tools - Services - Time - Punctuality - Accountability - Professionalism - Accuracy - Guarantee - Sacrifices - Safety and security - Payment of tax obligations No one can denigrate other people's work by judging prices. Only by knowing all the elements necessary for the production of a certain work can you estimate the actual cost. One of those little tasks I have on my "To Do" list is to suggest a group photo because many photographers don't try to get one. This couple asked me to be in their shot. 'Super nice people~!

What's more important to your event, a son's public declaration of his love to his Mom, a heartfelt acknowledgement from Mom on video that he can he look back on years after she's gone, or some extra flashy lights? This is what I do. I create special moments.

Mitsubishi Cement does a fantastic Christmas party. They wanted "wow" so I covered the walls in moving snowflakes and blue LED lighting as they requested. There was even a snow machine!

Hello all and I hope this turns out to be a good read. First and foremost I would like to thank Steve for his professionalism and his expertise when it comes ...to his business. Steve was involved from the start. Steve is NOT your average DJ. He went over and beyond our expectations. Steve has a mind that always looks for ways to make you’re special day the best it can possibly be. He is quick to fix any errors if for any reason you have to make a change in the timeline. As well as making sure the entertainment never stops. I’ve been to a few weddings in my life and usually you have a delay or at some point wonder what’s happening next because the DJ isn’t keeping the flow on point. With Steve everything went so smooth I don’t remember a single moment where people were all hanging around bored from nothing to do. On our special day, Steve couldn’t have made us any happier with his prompt, professionalism, and expertise with microphones to vows in our first dance song. Steve’s equipment is up to par for any event whether it be a back yard wedding or a huge hall. His equipment is clean and crisp, not like your average DJ that has no common sense with sound quality. Louder is not always better. His choice of microphones and wide variety of choices made for the right sound for speeches and vows. Every single person that used a microphone sounded clear and never over modulated. Sound engineer quality for sure. Lighting was on point with up lighting and plenty of dazzled lighting around the dance floor and surrounding areas. We even had a hologram of our initials and last name. Entertainment was endless. From table games to shoe games you will never be disappointed. Steve had something to keep everyone entertained while we were busy with getting our food, taking pictures, grabbing a drink, you name it. He always had something for people to do. As for set up, no trip hazards, no ugly wires, nothing in the way. When finished all of his equipment packed away nicely and was easily removed from the venue. If anyone is thinking about a DJ, don’t just settle for a mediocre DJ. Spend the money and quality time with Steve and get your moneys worth. Hands down worth every penny. Steve you are family now in my book and I’ll keep you in mind for any event I ever do (Hopefully only one wedding) but if I can think of anything else to do you’re my man.
