Today, we at TM are proud to announce the launch of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield's C19Explorer.io. Anthem called on us to serve our country during this crisis with our capabilities as a design firm. Their leadership during this time of crisis was truly inspiring, bringing together the brightest and most innovative minds in technology to create a real solution to the challenges our country faces in combating this pandemic. The need for data-driven decision making tools was ap...parent. Working alongside technologists and innovation leaders from Anthem, CloudMedx, xy.ai, and doc.ai., we fused cutting edge AI-enabled technologies into a seamless, easy to use geospatial predictive dashboard. C19Explorer is primarily intended for government officials, healthcare leaders and community leaders, C19 Explorer provides intuitive, interactive dashboards on the COVID-19 situation both current and predictive regarding areas such as infection rate and community risk scores. Today we are proud to be supporting 3 small businesses in San Francisco with $2500 grants. J.P. Kempt Barber & Social, Thee Parkside, and Turner's Kitchen SF. The TM team felt it was our duty to help the businesses we care about during this unprecedented crisis. We hope that our actions will inspire other businesses that aren’t affected by Coronavirus to reach out and help those that are. We opened our business in San Francisco because we wanted to be actively involved in the... community here, the city we call home. We each started families here with the intention of laying roots in the city, desiring to be a part of building a future here for the lives of our children and the lives of every other citizen. The owners behind the businesses we are supporting inspire us; from the way they care about their employees to their passion for sharing their talent with others. They do what they do because they desire to bring people together. They are San Francisco, and we can’t imagine life here without them. We’re excited to announce the launch of C19 Explorer, a partnership between Anthem, Inc., TM, and leading data-science companies. Launched in just a week, C19 Explorer is a suite of tools mapping health data to understand the impact of COVID-19 on our communities and medical centers. C19 Explorer brings together a suite of powerful reporting tools to arm government leaders and medical system admins with the real-time insights they need to make informed decisions for their co...mmunity. Knowing resource utilization at medical facilities, such as the number of available ICU beds and ventilators, or when we expect to run out of certain medications, or even what communities are at greater comorbidity risk to infection and health complications due to the virus these questions are all critical to understanding how our nation’s cities are being impacted by COVID-19. Even more crucial is understanding how changes in our behavior such as loosening social distancing guidelines or reopening schools might impact these figures weeks and months to come. The group of scientific leaders that have to come together as part of the C19 Explorer initiative is helping to answer these questions. We’re honored to have been a trusted partner of Anthem's in leading the design of this platform. From its inception, through design, and ultimately launch was just shy of a week highlighting the spirit of cooperation amongst our different teams, a theme that has become common across the nation. Excited to share that our client Nourished has announced a record-breaking seed round. Nourished's 2m of funding is the largest round of seed funding in the UK this year, and the largest seed round ever raised by a female founder in the UK. TM's design team is proud to have partnered with Nourished to design their digital experience. About Nourished - Nourished produces vegan, sugar-free vitamins personalized for customer's individual health needs. Nourished sells direct to ...consumers online, asking its customers to complete a short questionnaire setting out their lifestyle choices and goals. Based on their answers, the company selects the active ingredients best suited to the individual customer’s objective. These are then formulated into a gel that the customer takes each day a chewable vitamin pill optimized for absorption. Beyond excited to share that TM partner NextNav has raised $120m in their latest round of funding! NextNav’s location technology pinpoints the vertical and horizontal locations of smartphones, drones or anything else connected to the Internet of Things, without using GPS. The software TM designed for NextNav provides precise floor level visibility of the location of first responders inside tall buildings, visualized on 3-dimensional maps. This was an incredible collaboration, where we had to fuse a multitude of datasets and solve complex interaction design challenges.
