Map drawing almost complete for J.D. Lakey's Arrow's Flight -- now available for pre-order. I think I've found my true passion - fantasy map drawing! I love working with pen and ink. Just need to add the text in with Photoshop using a handwriting-style font. Because I know my handwriting skills are not as great as my drawing skills!

One year ago today I gave a presentation to the Houston Writers Guild -- 1.5 hours of me talking about book covers. So much to say on this subject! The Houston writing community is such a welcoming, creative group, and truly enjoyed my time there. Wishing them love and strength as they comes together to rebuild after Harvey. I hope to return soon!
