Understanding that there won't be any hockey for a while, here are some things you can do while we are all waiting to get Whalers Hockey back on track. Thanks Tehachapi Mountain Roller Hockey for the tips. Wash your gear. Hockey sweat can linger on surfaces for months or possibly years . . . so be careful. Check your skate wheels for wear: flip and rotate if necessary. If not necessary, you finally have time to clean all the dirt and carpet fibers out of the bearings! Check y...our stick. If you have grown since last season or the blade is worn out, you might need a new one. Retire your old stick from hockey and use as a social distancing device. Tape your stick. Retape your stick with a cool design. Add a roll of tape to your hockey bag. Check your tape stock. Are you low on tape?? Buy hockey tape. Like, a lot of hockey tape.
