We welcome Jeff Abram to the Warming Sun Music Publishing family. Jeff is a composer of original band music and has published his piece "Phoenix March". Jeffrey M. Abram began playing the trumpet in fourth grade and played it for 12 years, through the third year of undergraduate school. In his senior year he had to make a choice between his engineering studies at Washington University, St. Louis, and music. Engineering won. Jeff went on to complete an engineering doctorate, ...start a career in software engineering, get married and raise two children. His trumpet was rarely touched over a period of 35 years. Then, with much encouragement from his wife, Rada, he picked up his horn and worked diligently to get his lip back. He joined the Des Moines New Horizons community band, and then joined both the Urbandale Community Adult Band and Swing Band and became a musician once more. He is now the lead trumpet in all three bands. His rebirth in music led him to begin arranging music, and then composing original pieces.
