Wow, what an outpouring! It is so heartwarming to read each of your wonderful memories, and we can’t thank you enough for the kind thoughts and well wishes. It is truly humbling. Many of you have asked if Walt’s will be reopening. Candidly, we don’t know. It currently sounds like the mandatory restrictions will remain in place for a number of weeks, if not months. Thus, for now, we all need to focus on family, friends, and staying healthy and safe. Once the mandated restr...ictions are lifted, many, many restaurants (and other businesses) will all be assessing how economically impacted our community is; what the expected increases are in operating costs versus what percentage of prior revenue we can expect for the next 12 months; will there be new (or increased) regulations, fees, taxes, etc. All of this is currently unknown. Once it is all clear, and we have a chance to evaluate it all, we will post an update. By the way, we have noticed some questions and concerns about gift cards.
