This is how we’ve decided to #betheCHANGE during this Pandemic. ... This week we are thankful for having Leslie and Lloyd speak to everyone about FLL judging and running a team. Next Saturday, we are excited to have 3473: Team Sprocket teach everyone about Mechancial Mechanisms. Starting this week, we will also host CAD lessons. WE HELD OUR FIRST WORKSHOP. Working with our partners in Africa, we held an introductory virtual workshop discussing Engineering Careers for students across Africa and India. Up to 500 participants from 6 different timezones and 3 different continents joined this session. Next week ~ Introduction to Engineering Design, Documentation, and Engineering Mechanisms.

WVR is a tight-knit community of high-school students where you have the opportunity to learn engineering, business, critical thinking, and teamwork skills that can be used throughout your life, both in school and out. Earlier this week, we had another opportunity to help our community in its battle against Covid-19. We donated 2,000 surgical masks to our local PIH Health in Whittier, California. Thank you to all the medical staff fighting to keep us safe!

WE ARE AT 530 FRAMES. Over the last two weeks 3473: Team Sprocket, The 2nd Rebellion FTC #14531, FTC 6325 Aluminati and WVR has worked together to support our SOCAL Hospitals. We are proud to use our 3D printers to help fight COVID 19. At the moment, there are 66 hospitals on the list. And we have send some to Ghana as well. But we need more help. Hello! Every Year, the Los Angeles Region sends 2 FLL teams (out of 400+ teams) to compete at the World Championships in Houston. For the last 3 years, the Walnut community has had 4 teams qualify for Houston! Please help send our 2019 FLL Champions, Lek Watkins and her FLL Team- The Diamonds.
