Walking the Path of the Shaman 02.01.2021

Sisters of the Drum Project: several weeks ago my Spirit Guides directed/asked/encouraged me to create an energy circle to hold space for healing and personal transformation. My challenge is to educate myself on how to use technology to make that happen, online. I will plan some in-person events when we can do so, safely. Shamanic drumming is an amazing tool for diving deep into your inner well of wisdom, I will be doing a Zoom workshop on basic journeying. Next steps: acquire a drum, any drum and a mallet/drum beater. My friend Wonda McDaniel Correia (Signature Creations) creates one-of-a-kind drums, link below. Short videos on various topics to come. Absolutely! Thank you Heather for posting! My first Shamanic journey workshop, our teacher told our class that she had just returned from spending time in Alaska, with First Nations Indigenous people. If we as budding Shamanic Practitioners wanted to go spend a lot of money on our " spiritual tools", a special hide drum such as buffalo or reindeer, a gourd or turtle rattle, it's okay, however, unnecessary. The indigenous people drop a few stones in an empty Coke can for a rattle or use a an empty coffee can for a drum. It doesn't matter, the intention is the important piece. Namaste, Dawn
