Happy Saturday. Lucy made homemade Beef Birria tacos for the special today at Wagon Wheel. I have never had Beef Birria but I am told that people who know what it is love it. Apparently, it’s quite popular and our employees are really happy right now. I asked them to describe it to me and I was told it’s kind of like heaven and Mexico put together. I guess I’ll be trying it for dinner. So, for Beef Birria fans we have 3 grilled corn tortillas covered with melted Chihuahua cheese and our own Beef Birria. Served a side of consommé for dipping. We are happy to announce starting today, September 10th we are now open for take-out from 7am to 8pm. We will open for dine in as soon as we are allowed and we are really looking for forward to it! Our employees and I are excited to get our Wagon Wheel family back together again. See you soon!

Hello! As you may have heard by now, the CA Governor has ordered the restaurants in our county to close for indoor dining for at least 3 weeks. We will continue to be open for takeout during this time. Our current hours for takeout are 7am - 9pm, 7 days a week. We will also be setting up online ordering to make it easier for you to see our menu and place your order. I will let you know as soon as it’s ready to go. Have a great 4th of July weekend! It’s with a heavy heart; I am announcing that Wagon Wheel will be temporarily closing for all food services effective 8pm, Tuesday April 7th. In compliance with current restrictions, we have done our best to remain open and serve our guests through take-out options, while providing some of our employees with work hours. We now feel that we need to take a greater step in protecting the health and well-being of our employees, and allow them to be able to comply with the stay a...t home directive to keep them safe. We currently plan to be closed until April 30th. Our goal is to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. The community, our loyal customers and our employees have been great to us for many years. Hello.Today’s available items include eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, bread, hamburger buns, lemons, red and white onions, butter (1 lb.), dry pinto beans, ketchup and toilet paper. Toilet paper is 1 roll individually wrapped, just to help you get by until the grocery stores are stocked. The Wagon Wheel Restaurant is currently open from 7am to 8pm for to go orders, curbside pickup and delivery. California is now allowing us to sell Beer and Wine to go or with delivery of any food order. You can call 760.326.4305 to place your order or stop by to order and pickup. Starting Monday, March 23, 2020 we will have a list of items you can add to your food orders to help you and your families get by in this very difficult time. Examples of items that may be available ...to purchase would be lettuce, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, lemons, eggs, ketchup, bread and single roll toilet paper. This list will change daily based on availability and more items will be added. We are offering add on items to help our customers avoid making unnecessary trips to the grocery store for single items. If you have something specific you need please ask and we will help if we can.
