Everyone meet Rocky! He is a Compassionate Rescue from the Madera shelter. Rocky doesn't have full use of his back legs because of an aggravated back issue. Waggin Trails and Ripple Effect Animal Project are partnering to get Rocky the rehab care he needs for a long and happy life.

This was Bailey. Came to City Council Monday night for Adopt a Dog segment. One of the gals with the city had already put in adoption papers for him. I'd call that a successful night!

Pupdate: WTRF is currently on the road to WA with a group of shelter dogs and kitties. Next week, a crew headed to Oregon and then off to AZ to help rescue pups evaced from flood zones.

Another 92 Kittens arrived safely at Embrace a Discarded Animal Society this week. As many of you know, they are a 'favorite' rescue partner of ours - known for placing hundreds of our alumni in loving Canadian homes. Since many meowing lil' furballs are still coming through our shelter doors every single day....
