Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly Martin Luther King Jr. Victor Valley Family Resource center believes in the inalienable rights of all, no matter sex, creed, religion, or color. We find the circumstances behind the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others deplorable. It is a...lso evident of the systematic racism that exist in our country today. We fully support the peaceful protest geared at fighting against police brutality and the intolerance of our Black community. We as a whole are responsible for change. We cannot stand by idle, or turn a blind eye, in hopes that hate will fade. We need to be proactive, and fight against institutions and politicians provoking and perpetuating bigotry. And let us be clear, remaining silent, is to support that very ideology! It should not be acceptable that Black Americans everywhere fear for their safety even in the very confounds of their homes. We must be the change, and change starts now! We at Victor Valley Family Resource Center endeavor to continue the fight against homelessness, unemployment, and financial illiteracy. We will support and donate to social justice entities and movements. We will support Black owned businesses, providing employment and monetary relief to Black Americans. We will also look into measures supporting the progression and education of Black Americans. We support the need for police reformation. Black Lives Matter! We must vote, so to save our nations democracy and to put into office those who believe justice and freedom for all. We are encouraged by the coming together of our nation, and the promise that brings. We know through prayer and movement we will win this fight. We will overcome! #blacklivesmatter #civilrights #peacefulprotest #justice #justicereform @aclu_nationwide #blm #love #blackexcellence #melanin #blackwomen #blacklove #africanamerican #blackbusiness #supportblackbusiness #blackpeople #blackhistory #mlk #martinlutherkingjr #martinlutherking #quotes #quotesoftheday

As you gather gifts, friends, family; remember that the true reason for the season is love. Open your heart a little bit more. Give a little more care to those who you love. And appreciate this moment. For no moment will ever be the same. And you will never be the same. Merry Christmas everyone. If you find you have a little space on Santa’s list this year, feel free to go to vvfrc.org and donate to helping our community. We appreciate you. Enjoy the holidays.
