The $260 monthly payment will issue as a supplemental payment to eligible employees’ regular paycheck each month beginning with the July 2020 pay period. The State Controller’s Office will process the payment within the first week after the pay period ends. ... The payment is subject to the flat tax withholding rates of: -22% for Federal -6.6% for State -6.2% for Social Security (if applicable) -1.0% for State Disability Insurance (if applicable) -1.45% for Medicare or 2.35% for Medicare for wages over $200,000 (if applicable).
