We’re grateful to the Black visionaries of the past who still inspire today’s leaders. As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, Cheyenne Brown, Inventory Control Clerk & Diversity and Inclusion Council Member, recognizes his grandma as his inspiration. She was the first Black woman in Bakersfield, CA, to become a parole officer in 1985 and selflessly helped raise me and my many cousins.
