Are you getting hungry? Is there Chowda in your futucha? Well, it's on again - Chowda Chomp No. 3 is set for November 9, beginning at 11a.m. Competition is open to two classes this year, Professional and Home, so if you've got a killer Chowda recipe, sign up and share!

Hello there. It's been quiet around these parts mostly, but wedding season is beginning. We've had several requests for dates and tours of the Hall have been given. Last May, there was a lovely wedding used the Park for the ceremony and the Hall for the reception. It was very well received. Photos are posted here, for inspiration. Our calendar is filling quickly so please contact us soon if you plan a wedding in Volcano using the town facilities (Park & Hall) between April and October. Here are a few photos from last year's CHOMP. The weather today in Volcano is perfect - sunny, warm and just a slight reminder of fall in the air.

JUST MOMENTS AWAY! The 2nd Annual Chowda Chomp is starting in a few at Armory Hall. The band is set up, and the chowdas are bubbling. The aroma of bubbling chowda is amazing. $5 to taste and vote for your favorite. You can't miss it. In town, Volcano.

Jazz and Swing dancing at The Armory Hall is just over a week away. You may buy them at the door, but advance tickets are available at the Amador Chamber of Commerce on Main Street in Jackson (223-0350), or at the County Store in Volcano (296-4459). Or, call 296-8002 to reach the Hall. If no one is on site, leave a message and it rolls to the Hall Manager's home number, and your call will be returned within 24 hours. $15 per person, $25 per couple, youth 17-10, $10.
