Teenagers: beautiful, strong, vulnerable, open, shy, confused, wise, lost, true and so much more... I have been working with teenagers for 10 years now, in clinical settings, in workshops, private sessions, social events, psychodrama groups. I have been living with teenagers for 5 years now and I can't stop but marvel at their strength to fight for their truth and to stay loyal to who they truly are. Luckily, my two teenagers don't need to fight for it so much, because one of... our golden rule at home is to respect everyone's right to be your own person, with all that it implies. It can be hard, it can be inconvenient or challenging but this is the only way for me to know that I did my job as a mom, keeping my children whole and true exactly the way they arrived to me, without pushing them away from their own self and dividing their own personality in order to please us or fit in. They have so much of it in the outside world so at least at home they need be safe, contained and loved with their truth. My children share a lot of what's happening at school and with their friends, especially their inner struggles because that's how they can process it. It helps me to understand the teenagers better when I work with them but today, more than ever, I feel that I am not doing enough, that I need to do more for the sake of these young vulnerable and rich souls. So I decided to dedicate a few hours (probably, 6-8) of my weekly schedule for the private Skype sessions with teenagers. This is not a therapy session, although it will be therapeutic and this is not educational sessions, although it can be very enriching. These sessions are for the teens to learn creative tools that I developed in my work ( based on Classical and TSM Psychodrama) that can support them in their inner explorations and self-discovery. It can help them experience mental clarity and to find their own inner strengths and resources. It can help them to stay true to themselves, without suffering and fighting, but by staying engaged to their own core. As many of you know, I am practicing in 3 languages, English, Hebrew and Russian. Hello, dear friends!!! I am very excited to share with you a new development of The Way Home Foundation- a mobile app for self-healing and creative growth!!! The Way Home App is a virtual space where everyone can practice and develop his/her own theraputic skills, meaning to become your own best healing agent. Moreover, in this App, you will be able to create your Inner Home so your inner world will become a safe, clear and healing space where you can discover your own inner ...resources and build yourself up as if building a home for your unique personality. I've been envisioned and explored this idea for a while now but since technology was never my playground, I knew I need a partner who will complete my knowledge and expertise and will channel from the same place I am. Not an easy task after all So as I always, I decided that if it's right and true for me, it will come to me when I am ready. Surprisingly, this wonderful entrepreneur showed up 2 weeks after I gave birth to my daughter Emilia so the life had a funny way of telling me that this is the best time to do it. Anyway, while Emilia was laying by my side and enjoying her breast milk, we started developing the idea and now are in the stage of user testing and collecting database. Warming up for the Russian version of The Way Home. The title of the book is being discussed now. Here's one of the options and some thoughts anticipating the original fairytale with which my book begins. Any feedback is welcome "Путь домой - к самому себе" ...У каждого ребенка в жизни происходят те или иные события, которые порождают новые для него эмоции и чувства, переполняющие его маленькое сердечко. В каждой маленькой головке постоянно возникает огромное количество мысл...ей и вопросов, зачастую пугающих и непонятных, ответы на которые не всегда удается найти. В процессе роста, у каждого маленького человека возникают переживания, которые ошеломляют, а порой и сотрясают его нервную систему. Все эти внутренние процессы - часть естественного развития каждого из нас. Когда рядом с ребенком, есть взрослый, создающий ему безопасное и свободное для роста пространство, все эти чувства, мысли, переживания и события становятся внутренними богатствами ребенка. Весь душевный, эмоциональный, интеллектуальный, телесный опыт сохраняется во внутреннем доме ребенка и позволяет ему вырасти в большую, многогранную и глубокую личность. Когда же ребенок оказывается один на один со всем, что порождает его бесконечный потенциал, не имея внешнего дома, в котором он принят, защищен и естественен в своем росте, он начинает зажимать, травмировать, а порой и разрушать свой еще неокрепший внутренний мир. Если же вдобавок к этому, в жизни ребенка происходят внешние события, травмирующие его тело, душу, нервную систему, то остаться внутренне целостным и невредимым практически не представляется возможным. К сожалению, наше внутреннее пространство не заметно для каждого, а потому даже самые любящие родители, не всегда, в силах заметить, что у целого и полноценного когда-то ребенка исчезают важнейшие части его личности... Эта сказка написана в попытке представить всю глубину, силу и ранимость нашего внутреннего мира, с самого начала пути и на протяжении всей жизни. Эта история написана сказочным языком, полным образов и метафор, позволяющих представить наше внутреннее пространство и путь, который совершенно необходим каждому из нас. Это путь домой, путь на котором мы познаем и осознаем самое себя, принимаем свою внутреннюю природу и даем возможность нашей душе жить свободно, безопасно и естественно - так как было и задумано с самого начала.
