We’re cautiously excited about our re-opening for the Fall season and have some answers to your frequently asked questions. Will Fall Ball now be competitive like Spring ball? Yes, we're hoping to make Fall Ball season just like it would've been in Spring. This means (for upper divisions), keeping score & standings.... If we decide to play Fall Ball, will we have to pay another registration fee? Will we have to register again? If you were already registered/paid for Spring, we will transfer that registration & payment in our system to be applied to the Fall season. No need to pay/register again. Will there be new teams and tryouts? No, we are using all the teams that were formed in Spring for the Fall season. Same managers, coaches, team parents, players (if applicable). Can my player be moved to another team? At this time, no. We are keeping all teams as were assigned in Spring due to the uniforms that were ordered & distributed. Will new uniforms need to be ordered? No, the only uniforms that will be ordered are for new players. Why are we holding Fall Ball registration if we have teams already created/assigned? For the instances that some players might not return for the Fall season. If a team loses a player, we will fill that spot with a player from the Fall Ball registration. All upper divisions Fall Ball registrations will be placed on a wait list and dispersed where/when needed. What are the Fall Ball registration boundaries? Because some leagues might not hold a Fall Ball season, Little League has authorized us to allow outside players from outside our traditional boundaries to participate. If my player is unable to play in the Fall, will we be issued a refund? How much will we be refunded? Yes, you will be issued a partial refund which will have taken into account the costs that were already incurred prior to the suspension of the season (i.e. uniforms, equipment, operating expenses). If my player is unable to play in the Fall but wants to play the Spring 2021 season, can we use our Spring 2020 registration fee as a credit? Yes, we will issue a coupon/credit to be used for a future registration. Please connect with Marcela Torres (Treasurer) at [email protected] and/or Shauna Ketcher (Player Agent) at [email protected] for assistance. What if my player misses some games due to playing the Fall Ball season & another fall sport? Will they still be eligible for the All Star Tournament selection? We understand that some players might be playing dual sports in the Fall and because of this, Little League has modified their regulations surrounding eligibility to be more relaxed.

Due to the suspension of the Spring 2020 Little League Baseball season, Vista American Little League has decided to participate in a full Fall baseball season. We are working closely under the guidance of Little League International and California District 70 to get our kids safely back onto the fields while keeping our volunteers, families, and fans safe as well. We will be publishing further guidance on timing, social distancing and other appropriate preventative measures i...n the weeks to come. As we look forward to our communities to begin re-opening, we completely understand that families will be beginning to try to live normal lives again, schedules may be erratic and you may even plan a family vacation. We understand these are very different times that may require flexibility and adaptation on our part to accommodate your schedules. Your team managers will be reaching out to you this week and we are anxious to see the kids enjoying Little League baseball once again. See more

Update from Little League International: All Little League baseball activities have been suspended until no earlier than May 11th. While it breaks our hearts not to see and support our kids out there having fun, we understand the gravity and perspective of the situation. Please be safe, be good to each other, and we hope to see you all again very soon.

All Baseball Activities Suspended Until April 6 VALL Families, earlier today, Little League International issued the recommendation to postpone all baseball activities including but not limited to games, practices, team get togethers, events, etc. due to the growing concern surrounding the rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Out of abundance of caution in keeping our kids and our baseball community safe, District 70 has chosen to follow this recommendation. VALL and a...ll District 70 leagues will remain in temporary suspension until April 6th, at which point, the situation will be reassessed and we will be advised on how to proceed with our season. We've had an amazing start to our season and we can't wait to get back on the diamonds again! Until then, please follow all the recommendations to keep yourself and your family safe and protected. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
