North Lake Tahoe is a unique region whose mountain charm spans both California and Nevada. As of 1/12 at 11:59 p.m., the Stay Home order for the Greater Sacrame...nto Region in California -- inclusive of Placer and Nevada Counties -- has been lifted, effective immediately. The California side of North Lake Tahoe will now be entering the Purple Tier, which allows hotels to be open for leisure travel and for restaurants to accommodate outdoor dining. The Nevada side remains as is, open with modifications. Still, both sides of the lake are committed to maintaining all COVID-19 safety protocols and regulations.
