It is time to blow up the internet. 2021 Isabella Lake Fishing Derby is set in for April 24, 2021 thru September 6, 2021. 500 tagged trout in the lake with valu...es from $20 - $5,000. You have four months and two weeks to land a tagged trout at full face value. The drawings for the grand prize items will be held on September 6, 2021 at 5pm. Entry forms will be online as early as tomorrow as we are preparing them now. More details to follow so please stay tuned. Please note this event could not be possible without the California Department of Fish & Wildlife and the United States Forest Service.

Please be advised you can also c...heck for your test results through the Quest app or utilizing Kern Valley Hospital’s patient portal. For those requiring results asap consider using the Quest app as that is updated as soon as your results are recorded by the lab even before we receive your results. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Remember follow the guidelines; wash your hands often, avoid touching your face, wear a mask and social distance. If you suspect or know you are exposed, get tested and isolate until you receive your results. For those experiencing symptoms contact your primary care physician and follow their instruction. For Immediate Release Lake Isabella, California December 7, 2020 Kern Valley Hospital in partnership with Kern County began community testing the week of Ma...y 25. The information provided below only captures the positive tests results that have come from our drive thru testing facility. Results through November 25, 2020. Just a reminder, due to the recent spike in positive COVID-19 results we are testing on Wednesday and Thursdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The test site is now located at 4308 Birch, Mountain Mesa. We will have signage out by the street. The easiest way to enter would be McCray Rd., to Dogwood make a left and another left onto Birch. The building is next door to Mountain View Health Center. , No appointments will be necessary. This is a drive-thru testing site and you will stay in your car and wait for staff to direct you to pull up. We ask that you put your car in park once you are in position for testing. Please inform our staff if you are experiencing symptoms. We want to remind you this test is at no cost to our community and we encourage those who wish to test to take advantage of this opportunity. We remind everyone to continue washing your hands often and avoid touching your face, practice social distancing and wear a face- mask.

Due to the New Restrictions being imposed by the State of California that we are unable to dine inside our outside. We unfortunately have to cancel our general meeting which was scheduled for this Wednesday at the 178 bar and grill in Lake Isbaella. The Chamber will be sending out the new slate in email form and posting the results on Facebook. We are very sorry we have to do this but it is for the safety of our members.
