When you first arrive your temperature will be checked and you will be asked questions to help reduce the chance of someone with COVID_19 entering the building. Our staff wears ALL the proper PPE not only to keep them safe but to keep you safe from them. We have air purifiers in ALL treatments rooms to purify the air before, during, and after treatment. As always, we continue to use the highest grade sanitation and sterilization throughout the office. Extra care has been added to sanitize non-treatment areas several times a day as well. A pre-rinse is given prior to treatment to reduce the presence or bacteria and viruses in the saliva, including all Corona Viruses. We will greet you at our door, and after a quick screening, escort you directly to your treatment room following the one-way traffic throughout the office. This eliminates any risk of exposure to other patients during your visit. High Vacuum Equiptment is being used during all aerosol creating procedures performed by the Dr., his Hygienist, and the assistants. This drastically reduces any aerosols being emitted into the air. As we navigate thru these unprecedented times we want you to know that your safety and dental care needs have always been a priority for us, long before a Pandemic. GOOD NEWS! Our office has REOPENED after closing for 2 LONG MONTHS due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. We have already called many of our patients that were scheduled during that time to get back on the schedule as soon as possible. If you need an appointment, give us a call - we are here and set up to safely take care of you with all the precautions in place. We are doing things a little differently now, but it's simply to ensure your safety and ours. Here are some ...of the changes: Our reception area is currently closed and the front door is locked, so we ask that you call us from your car when you arrive to let us know you are here. Please stay in your car - we will call you back to let you know when it is time to come up to the office. We also ask that you come alone - no children, babies or family members can come in unless they too have an appointment. When we call you to come up, please put on your mask before entering the office. You will be met at the door by your hygienist or assistant who will then take your temperature, ask you some questions to confirm that you are not ill, sanitize your hands and take you straight back for your treatment. If you have a co-payment or account balance to pay, we can take that over the phone (preferred), or we can take it at the front desk. We will be asking you the following questions: In the last 14 days, have you: Had a fever, or felt hot or feverish? Had a cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties. Experienced loss of taste or smell? Traveled outside of the U.S.? Traveled by airplane anywhere? If you have been ill, we ask that you call and reschedule your appointment. And if you answer "Yes" to any one of the previous questions, we will reschedule your appointment. It is our goal - as it has always been - to provide excellent care in a safe, healthy, sterile environment. We have always done this, but now it will be a little more "on display".
