Hello SD United Families! We wanted to give everyone an update on our facility and future billing questions. There is no indication SD UNITED will be open April 1st with the current state and federal mandates that are in place. All SD UNITED memberships are paused at this time and no one will be charged on April 1st for tuition or April 15th. The gym has been deep cleaned and sanitized already, all that is missing are the kids and happy families. We cannot speculate o...n when we will be allowed to reopen, but we promise to let everyone know as soon as we are able to do so! We hope everyone is staying home and taking care of themselves. SD UNITED Temporary Closure March 16-31, 2020 Due to numerous concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we will be closing our facility effective immediately from March 16-31st, 2020 for all classes, training, special events, and private lessons. This was a tough decision and we apologize for the inconvenience. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation during this closure time. We will be amending our make up policy in light of this extraordinary situation t...o allow scheduling of make up classes through July of 2020. Please keep your family healthy and safe to ensure a quick ending to this situation. We appreciate your patience and we will get through this trying time. Dear Families, As part of our commitment to the heath and well-being of our athletes, staff members, and families; we will continue to implement preventive measures guided by the CDC. We are carefully monitoring the situation and will let everyone know if we are forced to close our doors. SD UNITED remains open and is currently in operation.... We are asking parents to please drop off your child(ren) at the front door for they will be guided to and from class by a staff member. Please refrain from high fives and hugs to the staff. Please stay at home for the safety of all of our students and staff if you are: feeling ill have a fever are coughing and/or congested Stay home when sick. Remain home until fever at or over 100.4F has been gone for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medicines (i.e. Tylenol/Acetaminophen, Motrin/Ibuprofen, etc.) To help prevent the spread of illness, follow these important tips: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (say your ABC's). If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Cover your cough with your elbow or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. We will adhere to the recommendations of county health professionals.
