Due to unforeseen circumstances our VFW will not be opening tonight. We will be open next weekend and will have the info up soon. OPERATION HEADSTONES Greenlawn Cemeteries, Southwest & Northeast, have partnered with VFW Post 97 and VFW 97 Auxiliary to purchase a 55-foot Flagpole to be installed in front of Greenlawn's office building at a cost of $3,700.00 split equally between the partners. Federal Flag Co. in Atlanta, GA has provided a 10' x 15' flag free of charge. Mr. James La Mar, President & CEO of Greenlawn, is donating the cost of the instillation of the flag pole and a granite memorial depicting the partnership. We have been assured the use of the flag pole and setting for future Flag Day and Memorial Day events.

We are open tonight again at 5pm with karaoke outside at 6. with the on-site taco truck hope to see you all there

Dinner will be coming from the on site taco truck, which is very good. Come enjoy some dinner and drinks and music!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is safe and healthy. Per ABC guidelines, our VFW is able to open for "to go" drinks and dinners as well. This Friday October 16, and Saturday October 17 we will be opening our back hall with "to go" drinks at 5pm, and food will be available, however we are still working on that..... I will announce that once we get it figured out We will be opening our back patio for those who wish to enjoy their to go beverages out side, or you are more then welcome to take home. Hope you can all join us in giving our Post some business.
