This week, we celebrated the end of the year by holding virtual awards ceremonies for the primaries, the middle school, and the high school. We always end the year by celebrating one virtue character that stands out the most for each one of the students from the past year. We were so blessed to hear teachers talking about how God has been shaping and molding each one of the students in his/her own special way! Praise the Lord for his goodness and faithfulness in our lives!

The first week of official remote learning is finally over! While it’s only been one week, it sure felt like a long time! Within the many difficulties and changes we are going through, we are constantly being reminded of God’s goodness and strength that fuels us forward daily. We are extremely grateful to all the teachers, staff, parents, and students, who have collectively been working together to make all of this possible. Over the past few days, some families share...d photos of how they are spending time at home and how online learning is going! Surely, within the chaos, we come to recognize that this time is also given to us by God as an act of His sovereign grace. How blessed are we to be able to spend more time with our families at home, develop individual study habits, and make better use of our time! As the COVID-19 becomes a pandemic in our current times, schools across the globe have been asked to shut down for the safety of students, teachers, and family members. Veritas has thus made movements towards online schooling for the next 3 weeks, effective 3/16-4/4. While this whole situation can be scary as we grow uncertain of the outcome, we hope that our Veritas community would be reminded of the unspeakable peace that is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. May we be produ...ctive as we explore online schooling and continually pray for the leaders of our nation and other nations that they may be filled with God’s wisdom, peace, and strength as they continue to heal people, search for vaccines, and make executive decisions.
